IAA Commercial Vehicles 2008
We cordially invite you to visit us from 25 Sept to 2 Oct 2008 on the world’s largest automotive fair. You will find us in Exhibition Hall 24 / E04. On this year's IAA Commercial Vehicles, the new route planner map&guide professional 2008 will be presented as well as new tour optimizing, scheduling and navigation softwares.

12/03/2007 Karlsruhe, Germany. What belongs together is now growing together. MAP&GUIDE GmbH, a complete subsidiary of PTV AG, will be incorporated into PTV through a merger.
The new organisation will be able to provide you with an even wider range of solutions from travel, transportation and traffic planning to navigation products.
Dr.-Ing. Hans Hubschneider, the spokesman of the board of directors, says: ”Over the last few years the markets and products of our Mobility and Logistics business fields have converged. The map&guide product line will remain intact and supported. However, the new combined entity represents an unparalleled opportunity for us to improve our customer service by providing innovative solutions under one roof. Uniform basic technologies and products tailored to the customers’ needs ensure that customers gain access to sophisticated map and route planning technologies.
What will change for the customers? map&guide is and will remain an important product brand of PTV. The MAP&GUIDE GmbH and PTV AG will merge this year in the summer. You will then have a wide choice of products - ranging from base technology to ready-to-run, cleverly designed applications - all "under one roof". We basically offer solutions for all tasks in the fields of transportation, logistics and mobility, providing you with a complete range of tools from one source. But from now on, we will both be acting on the market under the name of PTV.
We are pleased to announce that in future our customers will have faster access to new functions such as dynamic map updates or traffic information integrated into our navigation solutions.
