The digital maps used in desktop applications need to fulfil many different functions: everything from simple distance calculation and visualisation of geographical areas to complex transport scheduling and, last but not least, country-to-country route calculations.

More than 500,000 POIs (Points of Interest) help you get your bearings throughout Europe: Petrol stations, service stations, multi-storey car parks, ferry landings, exhibition centres, industrial parks and airfields are all shown on the map. In many towns and cities, map&guide even offers accuracy down to house number level.A wide range of additional data including personalised addresses, lines of altitude and traffic information can be integrated into the map.

  • Europe City: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, UK, Ireland, Poland, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal - includes corresponding city maps plus a map for the rest of Europe (main road coverage in towns and cities only)
  • North America City: USA with detailed city maps available on request.

International maps without detailed city maps

  • Europe: All of Europe on one map; towns and cities only contain data for the main roads.
  • World: A basic road network that covers the entire world. Map available on request.
