The maps we supply with PC applications are not the same as the maps supplied for mobile navigation due to the different hardware in each case. A map supplied with a PC application can support a significantly greater quantity of data than a map used for a navigation solution on a mobile device.

Therefore the material intended for map&guide navigation solutions is specially compressed for use with navigation systems. The volume of additional data such as POIs is limited to information specifically related to navigation in order to save storage space. This ensures that the navigation software always delivers rapid results.

Sometimes a route can lead through many sections of several different maps, especially in the case of country-to-country routing; thanks to the seamless merging between maps, the software is guaranteed to always produce exact navigation results. In addition, every map&guide map package contains a major road network for all of Europe. This means you can always calculate routes on European main roads (continental routing).

The prices for standard maps are based on the map contents as well as the intended use. Therefore you should consult the information related to the products you wish to use in order to find out more details on map prices.
