New Features

  • New PTV Europe City Map Premium 2017.1H
  • When printing an overview map for the current route, you can now additionally print a map for the start or destination area of the route with user-defined size
  • A new "Feedback" option has been integrated: a button at the bottom of the application allows you to open a window for entering textual feedback as well as for rating the application

Improvements

  • Deleting a user in the administration tool could take a long time. This execution time has been significantly reduced by optimizing internal database structures
  • The "information about your route" notification dialog has been revised. In addition to the "Do not show again" option, you can also temporarily hide individual messages. These messages appear again after 7 days
  • Stop-off points that are declared as "via-points" now can have a radius < 1 km (range: 0,001 - 300 km)
  • The user interface for creating color scales for user-defined data manager tables has been improved
  • The login page now shows a hint if the currently used browser does not support "local storage" functionality (which is required for PTV Map&Guide internet to run properly)
  • When sending a stop-off point list to the PTV Navigator app, sometimes the calculated routes on the navigation device were not identical to PTV Map&Guide internet. This has been improved
  • The "Support Chat" button is now also available within the administration tool for the German surface. Currently support can be reached between 8 am and 6 pm CET
  • The "route corridor" button in the route planning use-case now can only be activated if a data layer has been explicitly selected. Please note: the route is calculated faster if you disable the corridor search. If the corridor search is active, the route calculation becomes faster if you reduce the width of the corridor in the settings dialogue
  • If a route contains toll, a warning will be shown indicating that all prices are net prices. You can choose to not to see this warning again
  • Stop-off points declared as "Favorites" in the settings dialog now can be renamed
  • For Firefox browser minor optical display errors have been fixed on the login page and in the route planning use-case, e.g. partially cropped text
  • A new "info" column has been added to the "Route calculation result" section of the route planning use-case. In this column, a warning symbol appears if there are notifications for the respective route that have previously been permanently deactivated ("Do not show again"). By clicking, on the new warning symbol you can again display all the notifications for the route
  • The context menu and the "Edit" menu of the vehicle management use-case now contain numerous new entries for handling the visibility of vehicles
  • The column "additional information" in the station list has been renamed to "description" in order to harmonize the name with reference to the "data manager" description field
  • The settings dialogue now contains an option for hiding the "Support" button in the lower right corner of the application. Save your profile to permanently apply the change
  • For the sake of clarity the labeling texts for toll stations motorway exits are no longer displayed on the map
  • Now it is possible to edit the ferry costs for each ferry. Every user can set the costs in the search ferry dialog. The settings will affect the cost for all users of the same tenant
  • A corridor-search for POIs along a route is now only executed if you explicitely select a POI table for it
  • The user defined ferry cost are now taken into account if the ferry is not added as a station. Before this change, you had to add the ferry manually to the station list
  • Translations for romanian language have been added
  • The overseas departments of France have been removed from the list of countries in the route planning use-case since the corresponding addresses are to be found with the French country code
  • Currency short name for Belarus has been changed from BYR to BYN
  • The GUI of the administration tool has been revised / modernized
  • The notifications dialog with information about time-dependent restrictions for the calculated route now also shows the validity period for these restrictions

Bugfixes

  • When calculating a route with a departure time that is more than 20 years in the future, an error message occurred and the route was not calculated
  • When calculating a route while having restrictions and corridor-search enabled in parallel, it was possible that corridor addresses that were not reachable were listed as first entries in the itinerary. These non-reachable addresses are now begin removed
  • Under certain conditions, a wrong product name was shown when opening the administration tool
  • When printing routes, the name of the saved route was no longer used as a title, but a name derived from "start - destination" had automatically been assigned. This has been fixed: If available, the printout now again uses the name of the stored station list as the title
  • Routing restrictions sometimes were shown with an incorrect value in the map, e.g. 80 t instead of 8 t
  • The selection symbol (red circle) in the map sometimes was drawn in a slightly different position than the selected data manager object
  • When the "information about your route" notification dialog with information and restrictions concerning the calculated route is being displayed, arrows are drawn on the map to highlight the position of the corresponding entry of the dialog. These arrows remained visible after closing the notification dialog. This has been changed. When the dialog is closed, the arrows are removed from the map
  • Entering a price model name with more than 50 characters resulted in an unexpected error message. The name is now limited to 50 characters
  • When adding the ferry "Hirtshals-Langesund" as a stop-off point, the route could not be calculated, and an error message was thrown. This bug has been fixed
  • A typo in the spelling of the emission calculation standard "EN 16258" has been corrected
  • Searching for specific POI layers without entering a search address sometimes caused an error
  • Wildcard search with % within traffic information use-case application did not yield any results. A search for all streets, for example, {{A%}} now works again
  • In the administration tool sometimes a wrong number of active licenses was shown, especially immediately after purchase
  • In the calculation dialog of a cost profile, a display problem was fixed: in Google Chrome parts of the form were not visible
  • For Dutch language the traffic information messages occasionally contained typos or missing letters for certain location names
  • In the map restriction symbols for "residents free" roads were not correctly labeled
  • After deleting a user-defined data layer in data manager, the map was not drawn correctly if this data layer had been visible in the map before deletion
  • Remote control: An error in remote_control.html caused the login to be incorrectly evaluated and partially rejected
  • The database export with coordinates did not behave as expected in the data manager use case
  • When copying a selected address object in the map to the stop-off point list, the values for the "Stay" and "Time Windows" sometimes were not filled
  • If an apostrophe was used as a "unique identifier" in the data manager, an error message occurred when creating a new address
  • If data manager address objects with description fields were copied to the stop-off point list, the description fields in the stop-off point list were empty after saving and reloading the route
  • If the options "stays at stop-off points" or "driving time breaks" were set, it could happen that no ferry costs were calculated
  • Links to support websites shown in the login screen sometimes pointed to wrong URLs
  • Under certain conditions, users were able to change saved routes from "public" to "private", even if the route didn't belong to them. This is now only possible with routes that you saved/created yourself
  • After duplicating a routing profile, it could happen that the speed settings could not be changed anymore
  • If a route contained a lot of break periods at stop-off points, these break periods were not correctly added to the driving time. In this case, after reaching the maximum driving time, a forced break period was inserted in the itinerary, although already enough break periods were made at the visited stop-off points. This error in the calculation has been corrected, break periods at stop-off points are now correctly taken into account

    Version 5 (25 November 2015)

    New Features

    • Data Manager: Symbols in the map can be displayed in different colours depending on value ranges
In the Data Manager, you can assign a colour range to a field, for example to "Revenue". The symbols in the map are then coloured differently depending on user-defined upper limits. This means, for example, that the order volume for customers can be visualised by assigning the appropriate limit values for different colours. You can set the value ranges during the import. Alternatively, you have the option of modifying databases that are already available (right-click on the database > Address display > Colour range option > Edit range). In the "Set colour ranges" window, enter the upper limits of the intervals in the individual rows. If the value of the field falls within the interval, the designated colour is applied. Values larger than the highest preset value receive the standard database symbol. Note: If no standard symbol is available, these data sets are not displayed in the map. For each data type of the column, there are certain characters that cannot be entered. Also bear in mind that it is not permitted to enter numbers in "text" columns! Note: Upper and lower cases are not taken into account when determining the intervals.
    • New Europe City map 2016.1H required for the Belgium toll update
PTV Map&Guide internet V 5 includes the latest maps and data you need for precise transport calculations. • Compatibility with PTV Navigator
The new version allows planned routes to be transferred from PTV Map&Guide internet to PTV Navigator truck via an integrated interface. Not only the stop-off points of a route are transferred to the app, but the entire route, so that it can be used there again to its full capacity.
    • BETA Labs – blocks with time restrictions and restricted zones for trucks
During the planning, you have the option to factor in time restrictions and restricted zones for trucks. Important information: As this is only a test feature, PTV cannot be held liable for the use of BETA Labs.

        • The "symbol" column has been removed from the table view of databases.
      • Functions/Program interface
        • The quick info on parking spaces of the Truck Parking Europe system contains a direct link to the respective parking space on the Truck Parking Europe website.
        • For route calculations with corridor search enabled, it is possible to include objects from a database created in the stop-off point list.
        • When calculating a route taking into account the time slot, it can be that there are waits at a stop-off point. This "waiting time due to time slot" is displayed as a comment in the itinerary.
        • The function "Offset CO2 emissions" is no longer available.
        • The "Shop" link was moved to the main menu of the administration tool and it is therefore easier for the administrator to access it.
        • In settings, the overview with the toll scenarios is displayed, sorted in alphabetical order by country.
        • The display options of the information and error messages have been simplified. You can choose between three different options to specify when the message should be displayed again. Choice of days can no longer be entered freely.
        • The CTRL+Space bar keyboard shortcut has been removed.
        • In vehicle management, the "Restore default" button resets the values from all tabs, not only the values from the active tab.
        • All items under "Special charges" have been removed because they had only been used for the Écotaxe toll, which is no longer supported.
        • Itinerary points are displayed in the map in the colour of the assigned route. When there are several routes in the map, it can be seen clearly which points refer to which route.
        • You can hide the support button, which is displayed in the bottom-right hand corner of the application (Settings > General > Specifications).
        • To apply the change permanently, save your profile.
        • The application's behaviour when printing the route planning results has been improved. If several routes had been calculated, the first route was always chosen when printing. Now, the last calculated or last visible route switched to is selected by default. If all the routes have been hidden, only the map can be printed.
        • If settings for the map display are changed, a message is shown to indicate when the changes will become effective, once the route is restarted or recalculated.
        • The "Open route" button contains a drop-down list. By clicking on the arrow, the last 10 stop-off point lists used are loaded directly.
        • By default, stop-off points are labelled in the map (country ID, postcode, town/city name). You can switch off the label under Settings > Map > Display > Label stop-off points.
        • If the options "Visible from zoom level" or "Label in the map" have been changed for a given database, the changes will be visible at the next login. Changes are now visible immediately.
        • It has been made simpler to enter a default stay time for stop-off points (Settings > Route planning > Stop-off points).
        • The result of the route calculation can be copied to the clipboard.
        • If the settings for a vehicle have been accessed from route planning, the routing profiles used for default vehicles are not displayed. The button is now enabled for each vehicle and, depending on the context, changes its functions to "Display", "Edit" or "New".
        • In the administration tool, a new authorisation to activate/deactivate the "Teleroute" function has been added in the application.
        • If the currency of the application is changed, a message appears that the application must subsequently be restarted.
        • Bugfixes

          • In the past, selecting the "Arrival" button as a routing option caused an erroneous evaluation. This was liable to give incorrect results when calculating time-dependent tolls.
          • In some browsers, it did not work to search in Help directly from the program.
          • The stop-off point labels in the map have acquired a higher character priority so that they "points of interest" do not appear on top.
          • The map section for a route calculation with corridor search was set as too large.
          • The "Find locally..." function used to give no results when right-clicking on Ferries.
          • All of the dependences on the Adobe Flash Player plug-in have been removed.
          • The "heavy goods transport" vehicle property used to continue to be displayed for some vehicles even though it was no longer supported by the application.
          • The terms "working hours" and "driving time" were used ambiguously or incorrectly in some places.
          • The empty run during legs is displayed incorrectly for full or half pickups.
          • If a reference profile is selected, the load can no longer be changed. The load is now automatically set to "Full" and selected TBC (tunnel restriction code) values are deleted.
          • The total route per leg was not identical to the entire route because of rounding errors. If the vehicle had been assigned a cost profile, there also used to be discrepancies between the entire route costs and the total costs per leg.
          • Importing a BCR file with a ferry which no longer exists in the current map would bring up an error message.
          • When post-geocoding a database manually, the country abbreviation was not displayed in the results list.
          • If no route had been displayed in the map, in some cases it produced errors when printing and the application became unstable.
          • The application's behaviour when printing the route planning results has been improved. Previously, when opening the print dialogue box, the first route was always chosen. Now the last route made visible is preselected. If all the routes have been hidden, only the map can be printed.
          • It could happen in some cases that the symbols in the itinerary, such as road closures for cars or trucks, were not shown for all relevant entries.

          Version 4.5 (01 June 2015)

          New Features

          • The reference vehicles and default routing profiles were optimised to take truck attributes into account automatically for route planning:
            • Roads closed to trucks
            • Truck restrictions, such as weight, axle load, clearance height and width as well as vehicle length
            • Transit bans
          • The vehicle's technical data are the basis of the planning.
          • Reference vehicle and default routing profiles are given version numbers. The unique version numbers allow you to see immediately in future versions whether the reference vehicle profiles or default routing profiles have changed.
          • Stored Routes can now be renamed and moved with Drag and Drop between different storage folders.
          • You can export the itinerary in CSV format.
          • In the Administration Tool, you can import users from a CSV file. The CSV file does not have to include all possible 10 values and separators. It is sufficient if the CSV only contains the usernames.
          • In the Administration Tool, you can assign passwords for users manually.
          • A new "Navigation notes" option has been added under Settings/Map/Display/Labels. If this is selected, navigation notes are shown on the map when routes are displayed. For the sake of clarity, these are limited to key manoeuvres such as changing from one motorway to the other.
          • Points in the route list located within an environmental zone are also now shown in colour for Sweden, Italy, Denmark and Portugal.
          • Like the home address, a fixed destination can now be specified in the route planning options always to be included as the final stop-off point for new routes. Please note that a fixed destination is essentially the same as a normal stop-off point and can subsequently be deleted or moved as required.
          • You now have the chance to add various kilometres, time or fixed costs for each country using an "Exception" configuration in a cost profile.
          • In the data manager, an empty table can be created as an alternative to the CSV import so that personal addresses can be recorded quickly within the application.
          • It is now possible to use images of a size of up to 256x256 pixels as icons for a database (data manager use case). These are then adjusted internally to a maximum of 48x48 pixels. For changes to the display of addresses within a table, use the "Change" functions in the "Edit" menu.
          • Within the data manager use case, each address can now have its own icon. This allows, for example, different icons to be used for specific address groups or address categories in the map display.
          • In the results of the address search, the specific federal state is now also displayed in addition to the name of the town and/or district. This makes it easier to select the desired location. The old view can be restored via the global settings in the Address search/Results area. In this case, the federal state is merely listed in the details area under the results list.
          • All communication between the browser and Map&Guide internet infrastructure is now secured using HTTPS only
          • Under the "System News" tab, you will now find the latest information on your product, including pending program updates, important notifications and general product information.

          • If you regeocode an address manually, you can adopt an entry from the list of suggested locations with double-click.
          • New data manager layers are now available to quick search by default. Search for data manager layer content in fields marked as "search fields" by entering +search phrase in the address search field.
          • Minimum via radius now can't be lower than 1000m. That's now case even if you create them using the mouse context menu in deep zoom levels.
          • The German administrative borders are now more clearly distinguished from the national borders.
          • In the "Edit stop-off point details -> Address" dialogue, double-clicking on an address in the search results list now automatically selects the address and closes the dialogue.
          • When inserting a "Via stop-off point", it is made sure that the radius is not smaller than 1 km.
          • Floating-point values are now allowed for entering toll cost surcharges.
          • As with permissions for address types, the administrator can now also assign permissions for vehicle profiles in the administration tool. Only profiles marked as "Active" are therefore visible to members of the corresponding group in the client and can be used for route calculation. In the "Permissions" area, the use of private vehicle profiles can also be blocked.
          • The route list can now also be exported as CSV (instead of only Excel up until now).
          • The detailed information on a trip is now also printed together with the costs and the route list.
          • Address entries are now ignored if the content of the address field consists exclusively of special characters. The search term is however still considered.
          • The "Open route" dialogue now additionally shows the last modified date.
          • The use of the functions "Use home address as starting point" and "Use fixed destination address" have been simplified. They are now turned off by default, but are automatically activated when an address is selected from the search results. In addition, by clicking on "Default settings" the target address is now also reset.
          • When importing data in the data manager, recognition of field names in CSV files has been optimised.
          • Under the table with information on closed segments, there is now a note to the user that this table can be clicked to display the sections affected in the map.
          • Under the table with information on closed segments, there is now a note to the user that this table can be clicked to display the sections affected in the map.
          • Changing the language in the administration tool previously forced the page to refresh. We have changed this so that the switchover is quicker and the current entries do not get lost.
          • The interaction between the "Departure/Arrival" and "Time slot" buttons was, in some cases, not intuitive. This has therefore been optimised.
          • The road type "Departure/arrival in blocked zones" is no longer available in routing profiles and the option is now switched on by default. You receive a message if routes pass through restricted zones.
          • When specifying the size of a location, the thousands separator has been added for better legibility.
          • Route corridor objects in the route list can now be included in the stop-off point list via a context menu.
          • Owing to changes to the Teleroute interface, the "Open freight in Teleroute" function now only displays a general reference to the Teleroute contact data. Please contact Teleroute Customer Care if you have any questions.
          • The response times for the route calculation, address search and map zooming have been improved.
          • When using the "van" vehicle type, in the past there had repeatedly been inconsistencies in the emissions calculation, toll identification or the consideration of route restrictions. Now, country-specific regulations, in particular, are taken into account when differentiating between lorries and vans.
          • With changes to parameters of Search for Next, a new search is now started automatically so that the results are updated.
          • In the data manager use case, the data structure of a database can now be changed retrospectively. Field names and types can therefore be changed and fields added and deleted.
          • The dialogue "Find ferries..." was revised and the adding of ferries to the stop-off point list has been simplified.#
          • In the Truck Parking Europe database, there is a new occupancy category: "Car park closed". The data is always up-to-date as it is taken from the data gathered and updated by the Truck Parking Europe Community via the app of the same name.
          • The map material has been updated to the latest map.
          • The first entry in the automatic address search is no longer preselected.
          • The user can configure "Minimum length of first break" and "Minimum length of other breaks". The "Total length of the break" is calculated from this and displayed as information.
          • If the stop-off points are located in a country which has been deactivated by the user in the route-planning settings, the route will now be calculated in spite of this. The block on these countries is temporarily lifted so that the stop-off points located in those countries can be reached and the user is notified of the route calculation.
          • You can now choose whether the following elements should be shown on the printout: name of the route, page numbers, the current date and time.
          • Ferries for pedestrians and cyclists are no longer shown in the search results because they cannot be used for the route calculation.
          • The start and destination ports of a ferry connection can now be selected separately as a stop-off point in the address search result of the route planning.
          • If a stop-off point in a list of stop-off points cannot be connected, this will be highlighted immediately and you will be informed of this by an error message.
          • The print settings selected will now be saved. This affects the pages selected, the headers and the notes field for every page.
          • Percentage surcharges on the toll costs are now also shown for individual stages in the cost overview.
          • The setting that specifies that a route calculation should include a fixed departure time will now be included when the current "Profile" settings are saved.
          • Summer and winter times will now be taken into account for route calculations with a fixed departure time and stop-off points with time slots.
          • Several new profiles can now be added using the vehicle editor. Select "Not assigned" or empty the entry field and click on "New...".
          • The maximum length of the prefix for usernames in the PTV Map&Guide internet administration tool has been increased from 9 to 50 characters. However, for reasons of convenience, we recommend using as short a prefix as possible.
          • Various improvements in the import of data in the data manager.
          • Administration Tool: It used to be not very clear, which group was being used as default when using a custom user group as default in the "Groups" grid. The default group you selected will now be highlighted by adding a remark to its name.
          • Administration Tool: The mail server setup dialogue in the admin tool no longer displays entered passwords in plain text. Furthermore, the password is now stored encrypted, to prohibit access to the information when directly connecting to the database.
          • Administration Tool: If you use the administration tool mail sending functions, entering a correct sender address is now mandatory.
          • Administration Tool: We improved the "planned tasks" overview in the administration tool. Using the grid you now are able to restart selected scheduler tasks - just press the button at the end of each row.
          • Administration Tool: it is no longer necessary that the CSV file for the user import contains all ten values and delimiters. A CSV file containing only the user name is sufficient.

          Bugfixes

          • If you entered a loading at the starting point and the corresponding unloading at the destination, in some cases the starting point was changed.
          • When editing stations, the first entry of the automatic address search result has been pre-selected. Since this could differ from the original entry, the first entry is no longer selected automatically.
          • Perimeters where displayed in the map using a wrong scale factor, i.e. the radius was about 30% to small.
          • The optimisation of extensive tours with many time slots could lead to waiting times near 24 hours and long lasting routes.
          • Routing including ferry lines and consideration of driving and break times could deliver negative durations.
          • When "Russia" was selected in the list of countries to be avoided during the route planning, it produced erroneous route calculations.
          • When you saved a station as "via point" into a BCR file and imported the same BCR file again, the station type got changed into "stop-off point".
          • Using via points as stations the costs detail view did not show all legs resulting in wrong interim results. Via points are now shown like regular stations in the cost grid.
          • In the info dialog about restrictions on a calculated route, weight related restrictions had a possible error with a factor of 10.
          • Sometimes after resetting a user profile the default vehicle was not loaded correctly.
          • Setting the visibility of a route with the checkbox within "Route calculation result" grid did not work properly sometimes.
          • If you disabled a vehicle in the admin tool group editor it could happen that this vehicle could not be enabled again. This has been fixed.
          • In "Search for Next" with road distance, more hits were shown than had been configured in the options. Now the number of hits shown exactly matches the setting under a "Maximum number of hits per database".
          • If the limit for the number of created databases had already been reached, it was not possible to use the "Import again" function. This error has been rectified.
          • Users were able to create a new address even for read-only databases, which ultimately led to an error message. The "Enter new address" button has now been disabled for read-only databases.
          • The reference to the London congestion charge no longer erroneously appeared when the reference to the user's environmental zone was hidden.
          • In the data manager it was possible with the cursor button, in certain circumstances, to mark more lines as available, which could lead to subsequent errors.
          • When displaying radii on the map, the map's scale was not correctly taken into account, which meant that the radii displayed were around 30% too small. This calculation error has been corrected.
          • In some cases, resetting the user profile led to the default vehicle not being loaded. This error has been rectified.
          • References to road closures were no longer displayed.
          • If the same 'from–>to' connection was included multiple times in all toll segments of a country, the associated costs were not shown multiple times, resulting in a discrepancy between the grand total and the total of the individual costs. This has been rectified.
          • The list of vehicles in Vehicle Manager was not updated when a single vehicle was deleted.
          • A comma is now no longer added in the address field when choosing a search result without an address, so as to optimise further searches.
          • When creating cost profiles or price models, the "Reset" button did not work. This has been rectified. It was also made sure that the button refers only to the active tab within the wizard in each case.
          • In the route optimisation of the route planning, for driving times and rest periods an error report was displayed if ""Individual"" was selected and the duration of the break was set according to the vehicle value. This error has been rectified. Please note that the duration of the break may not be 00:00.
          • As soon as a point had a time slot beginning between 00:00 and 00:59, it led to an error in the route calculation. This error has now been rectified.
          • The map scale in the bottom-right corner of the map was not true to scale and so the displayed route accounted for only about 70% of the actual route. We have therefore replaced the scale display with a more compact version which corresponds to the distances on the map.
          • In some cases, a few deleted data records were still contained in the list of visible address types (Visibility->Map objects->Address types). This error has been rectified.
          • For ferries, no duration of stay is envisaged with routing. However, if under Options– Route Planning – Stop-Off Points, a default duration of stay for new stop-off points have been entered and activated, then a duration of stay will still be displayed for ferry stop-off points in the Stop-Off Point List, even if it has not been included in the calculation. This display problem has been corrected.
          • In the multiple calculations of itineraries in the same map section, during the calculation old results were occasionally displayed again in the map. This display problem has been corrected.
          • Break times could no longer be set in the dialogue "Driving times and rest periods" when two drivers had been assigned.
          • An error that prevented the TBC classes from being saved at stop-off points has been rectified.
          • When adding a "Via" point, the default stay time was displayed (if available), although this was not included in the route calculation.
          • An error that prevented the toll costs in Austria for emissions class EEV from being calculated exactly has been rectified.
          • If a stay time was defined at the destination, the arrival time was entered incorrectly in the itinerary in the Comments box, with a discrepancy of 1 or, for CEST, 2 hours.
          • When generating new vehicles, in some cases the attribute "Hazardous goods" was automatically assigned. This resulted in inaccurate route calculations. Should any further problems arise, open the vehicle affected and remove the "Hazardous goods" ID under the "Categories" tab.
          • Time slots at stop-off points are now included correctly when optimising according to linear distance or road distance.
          • An error relating to summer/winter times when using offers from the freight exchange has been rectified.

          New Features

However, if under Options– Route Planning – Stop-Off Points, a default duration of stay for new stop-off points has been entered and activated, then a duration of stay will still be displayed for ferry stop-off points in the Stop-Off Point List, even if it has not been included in the calculation. This display problem has been corrected.
          • In the multiple calculations of itineraries in the same map section, during the calculation old results were occasionally displayed again in the map. This display problem has been corrected.

          • Écotaxe: in the cost overview, the term "surcharge" has been changed to "Écotaxe (F) charging rate".
          • Écotaxe costs are now merged into a single sum in all printouts.
          • You can now choose whether the following elements should be shown on the printout: the name of the route, page numbers, the current date and time.
          • Ferries for pedestrians and cyclists are no longer shown in the search results because they cannot be used for the route calculation.
          • The start and destination ports of a ferry connection can now be selected separately as a stop-off point in the address search result of the route planning.

          • The maximum length of the prefix for user names in the PTV Map&Guide internet administration tool has been increased from 9 to 50 characters. However, for reasons of convenience, we recommend using as short a prefix as possible.
          • The number of addresses that can be saved as favourites have been increased from 3 to 5.
          • Various improvements in the import of data in the data manager.

          Bugfixes

          • All new User Management. Each client can have multiple user accounts now. Each user account is bound to a group with dedicated rights (that can determine, for example, if a user is allowed to edit vehicle profiles). Support of shared/public station lists and vehicles as well as private ones.
          • Price models. Using the new feature "Price Models" you can create custom models to reflect prices using a price list and/or tariff zones. These profiles can be assigned to any vehicle profile and affect cost calculation when calculating routes.
          • CSV import. It's now possible to import CSV files to the station list either via a file open dialog or directly with drag&drop (only latest browsers). The CSV file has to have the following columns format: country;postcode;city;street;stayTime(minutes);timewin1start;timewin1end;timewin2start; timewin2end;timewin3start;timewin3end;comment;x(lon)mercator;y(lat)mercator;loadAdd(kg);loadRemove(kg);fuzzyRadius(meters) Example: DE;6****;Frankfurt am Main;Bahnhofstraße 1;60;09:00;11:00;12:00;13:00;17:00;19:00;Comment;965553;6458476;5000;2000;0
          • It is now possible to have emissions calculated with CEN standard(prDIN EN 16258). See general settings -> Emissions calculation and new emission settings at the vehicle manager
          • Map: It's now possible to have external map (WMS) layers displayed in the main map window (see settings -> map -> external layers). The WMS services need to support either our map projection (EPSG:900913, Spherical Mercator) or EPSG:4326 (WGS 84) (but might be displayed a little distorted then).

          Improvements

          • Nicer rendering of the map (tiles are blending while loading, labels don't flicker anymore)
          • CSV export shares the same (above)format as CSV import now. So you can locally "archive" station lists as well as upload them for reuse later.
          • Open use cases are now saved and re-opened on the next login
          • It is now possible to edit various settings (stay times, comments) of multiple selected stations at once.
          • Discount for Ecotax. It is now possible to set an individual discount for Ecotax costs.
          • New setting: user-defined exchange rates.
          • Toll related information is now shown in the routing result grid by default.
          • Set cost columns "Pricelist", "Tariff Zone" and "Freight cost surcharge" to hidden per default.
          • Improvements to the "My profile" feature: Save profile automatically when closing the application. Configure, which groups of settings will (automatically) be saved.
          • speed-up of displaying information about toll scenarios
          • Display of the stations of a calculated route on the map as well as the printed PDF.
          • Moved the "reset to default" function from the "save settings" dialogue to the "my account" menu.
          • Added a quick info text about fuel consumption calculation using prDIN 16258.
