map&guide is a route planner specifically developed for the transport industry:

Toll calculation: map&guide calculates toll costs based on the official toll table. New: With the new version you can define an individual surcharge for each country and vehicle category per toll kilometre. This makes sense, if a country has announced toll increases, but official toll calculation tables are not yet available to update the software. The extra charge will be included in your toll calculation and provides exact toll rates, even during periods of transition.

Driving times and rest periods: map&guide considers remaining driving times and shift times when calculating driving times and rest periods. New: Identifying parking areas according to driving times and rest periods:
With map&guide you can search for parking areas along the selected route that fit into the time slot of rest periods. The route itinerary includes all service areas that can be reached quickly during the driver's rest period.

Individual truck navigation: The Road Editor enables you to easily close individual routes and to define your own route attributes. You can thereby calculate routes specifcally adapted to each type of vehicle. New: For each vehicle profile you can weight different types of roads, such as motorways, federal trunk roads, country roads, residential roads, toll roads, and environmental zones. As a result, you can avoid environmental zones or use motorways for HGV transports wherever possible.

Calculating transport cost: Calculate distances and costs based on map&guide road distances - a basis for quotations and invoices. New: Individual extra charges according to distance or number of stops: Now, you can define whether extra charges have to be added to your transport costs, depending on the distance or the number of stops.
